XJET's Harvard 1075 was built in 1944 by North American Aviation Inc. at their Dallas Texas plant. It has the A.F.F serial number 41-44116 and Foreign serial number EZ-243. It was part of a RAF/FAA Lend-Lease allocation shipped to New Zealand on the 'Hughli Gulf' in April 1944 and assembled at Hobsonville Air Base, New Zealand. Brought on charge on the 3 May 1944 it was the nineteenth and last aircraft to be converted and modified to a Mk.III status at Woodbourne between May and November 1957. It was allocated to long term storage to Wigram until 1962.

It took part in the Harvard 30th Anniversary Flypast over Christchurch on 22 March 1971 and again in a final Flypast in June 1977.

Sold by GSB tender in 1978 to Airferry Inc. Sydney and registered to Leather Fashions Ltd., Aulkland as ZK-ENI on 20 November 1978. It was sold and flown to Australia in August 1981 and had its NZ registered cancelled in June 1982. It was then registered to H. Brunton, Narromine, NSW as VH-HVD on 21 June 1982. To Fintonn Pty Ltd., Collingwood NSW in February 1989. To D.Hamilton, Whorouly, Victoria on 15 December 1995 and finally to its current owner Airport Facilities Pty Ltd on 22 Octber 1996.
